This class is designed for aspiring and working editors in Trinidad & Tobago who already have basic editing experience and want to develop stronger, industry ready skills — whether you're an emerging editor looking to level up, or a professional wanting to sharpen your craft.
Yes. Participants should already be familiar with basic editing concepts and have some hands-on experience using editing software. This workshop is designed to build on those foundations rather than teach editing from scratch.
December 14–18, 2026 from 10am-4pm daily in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Venue info will be shared upon application acceptance.
You must bring your own laptop capable of running professional editing software, along with any accessories you need to work comfortably throughout the workshop — including your charger, mouse, headphones, adapters, and external drives.
You'll work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects used optionally for selected techniques. All required software should be downloaded, installed, and tested before the workshop begins.
Yes — you'll receive a Certificate of Completion from The Edit Lab, endorsed by Trinidad & Tobago's Film Commission / Global TT, that you can use on portfolios, résumés, and job applications.
We accept credit card, PayPal, or local TTD bank transfer. Payment instructions are shared once your application is accepted.
